Miss Marple’s Tearoom

Melbourne, not famously known for its prowess in food…however, stunned us with one of its hidden secrets called Miss Marple’s.

Located in a quaint little ‘English town’ up in Dandenong, a visit here is a must. (Little) Miss Marple’s has one of the best scones in this region (or the world) in my opinion. Served with the ever good dollop of fresh cream and silky strawberry jam, this delightful dessert is perfect after a walk around the national park - be it summer or winter. Come summer, order an ice chocolate to sooth the heat; and for winter, a steaming hot choc with marshmallow or their famous Yorkshire Tea just hits the spot!

We also tried their quiche Lorraine (egg and bacon) a hearty slice with a side salad. An incredible concoction that ends up melting in your mouth!

Service here is friendly, quick and charming. Somehow Aussies seem to top the list when it comes to friendliness and hospitability.

A visit to Miss Marple’s is a must! It’ll brighten up your day.
