Wedding Gowns & Suits in Bangkok, Thailand

In the midst of preparing for our Big Day, we whisked ourselves to a quick weekend in Bangkok…for one mission - to get our perfect gown and suit. thank goodness Bangkok’s tailoring turn over time is quick!

Here’s some information for you, would be couples:

Terence got his suit done at the EverRich Inn tailor. It’s located at Sukhumvit Road and is very accessible via BTS. The tailor’s name is called Win. We paid RM800 for a suit, pants, two shirts and a vest. It’s really cheap as compared to local prices of between RM800-1000, for just the suit.

And if you’re thinking of where to stay, Ever Rich Inn is a great place too. Central to everything and the rooms are nice and clean. It’s not BIG but comfortable. Rooms range from RM120 - RM200 (as of November 2007).

As for gowns, I did a lot of research and found out that there’s a huge main road with plenty of bridal shops to choose from. Take a BTS to Thong Lor station and walk your way to Thongloe Soi 55 Sukhumvit. (You might want to take a taxi if you’re not up for walking). We bought the gown for RM1,500 with a few accesories thrown in. Prices range from RM1,200 all the way to RM2,500. Shopping for the gown here is off the shelf. If it fits and you like it, GRAB. They also do custom tailoring but will cost more and would take some time.

In conclusion, KL prices are more expensive if you are deciding to buy your gown and suit. If you’re planning to rent them, then get them locally here will do.

If any of you guys have further information and details, please feel free to drop your comments.
